About Us

HeartGift provides life-saving heart surgeries to children from around the world born with congenital heart defects. The children we serve need just one surgery, but it's not available where they live. While HeartGift has already helped over 800 children, many more need our help. One in 100 children are born with congenital heart defects, and over 90% of them do not have access to the life-saving care they need. HeartGift fills this gap and provides surgery to children around the world at no cost to the child and their families.

In Austin, HeartGIft partners with Dell Children's Medical Center to provide these surgeries, and has partnerships with other hospitals in San Antonio, Houston, New Orleans, Kenya, Bolivia, and the Philippines.
