Struggling to Get Your Website Noticed? Learn Why Blogging Works!
Workshop Description: Every business needs to have a successful website to succeed, yet the art of generating new traffic and building loyal audiences organically has become more difficult in today’s landscape. Learn how to build brand awareness, increase your business listing in online searches, and earn more customers from Shannon Black, a Montessori school business owner who will share her "secret sauce" to blogging success (it’s easier than you think!).
Speaker: Shannon Black, Co-Chair, SCORE Austin
Bio: Shannon Black, a former public school math teacher, transformed her frustration into opportunity when she opened a Montessori preschool in Austin at 35 years old. What started as a four-classroom school evolved into a two-location Montessori business with 49 employees. After successfully selling her business last year, Mrs. Black has launched another Montessori business with plans for expansion. When she's not speaking on topics like blogging and how to write a business plan, she helps her SCORE Austin Chapter as their Co-Chair, spreading the word about the amazing free services that SCORE offers!
Sponsor (in-kind): SCORE provides expert business mentoring and education to business owners and startups. Our Mentors are successful business owners who donate their time to help others who are eager to start or grow their business. SCORE also offers thousands of live workshops and webinars plus templates on financial planning, marketing and more (free!).
