Jackie Verdoorn has more than 43 years experience serving the aging in home health care, assisted living facilities, and hospital settings. Verdoorn will give a presentation on Tuesday, November 19th at 2pm to discuss how Alzheimer's effects the physical changes in the brain, the individual, and how the disease can impact the entire family. Additionally, she will discuss feelings and stress felt by caregivers and ways to combat the stress.
