Lake Travis nonprofits are teaming up to kick off Amplify Austin Day with Amplify Lake Travis on Tuesday, March 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Table 620. Amplify Lake Travis is a party that celebrates Lake Travis nonprofits and the first two hours of Amplify Austin, an annual day of online giving. Amplify Lake Travis allows attendees to get to know top Lake Travis charities that support the arts, education, youth sports, and human services while enjoying a fun, family-friendly evening.
 
Hosted at the new Table 620 inside the Lakeway HEB (2000 RR 620 South), this free event will include complimentary appetizers, a full bar, live music, and a playscape for family fun.  Attendees can meet representatives from Colin’s Hope, the Lake Travis Education Foundation, the Lake Travis Youth Association, LTLov, TexARTS Association for the Visual and Performing Arts and more, and donate via the Amplify Austin platform.
 
Amplify Austin is an annual community-wide day of online giving. The 24-hour period runs from 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9. Amplify Austin provides an easy and fun way for the entire community to give together and help local nonprofits. In 2015, Amplify Austin raised over $7.7 million for over 500 Central Texas nonprofits. This year, Amplify Lake Travis hopes to raise $100,000 in 24 hours for its participating organizations, and Amplify Austin has a goal of $9 million for Central Texas.
